OUR VISION
At Brave Roots our goal is to provide joyful learning in nature. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to spend time in nature and challenge themselves in new and exciting ways.
We facilitate this by creating a safe, inclusive environment where children are encouraged to explore, experiment, take appropriate risks, and learn by making mistakes. Our sessions involve building fires, cooking, climbing, den building, whittling, and much more, but the direction of learning is always guided by the children themselves.
Above all else, we aim to empower children to nurture the brave roots that will last a lifetime-developing confidence, resilience, independence, curiosity, and a lasting connection with the natural world.
